Balancing ScreenTime

I am raising a digital native too and right here with you trying to figure out what works best for my child and our family. We are the most important models for our children. They watch everything we do. It's our child's job to question and test limits. It is our job as parents to listen, talk with our children, and set boundaries that work for our families. The rules are going to change over time as our children move through each developmental stage and that's ok! Life transitions offer an opportunity to look at rules and see what needs updating.

Be gentle and kind to yourself. We are all doing the best we can with what we know at the time as parents. There is no one right way. The key is that it needs to work for your child and family. When it's not, it is an opportunity to come together as a family and brainstorm solutions.
